We’re a 2nd-, 3rd- and even 4th-generation family-owned business since 1980!

After noting the lack of sauerkraut dishes served at the Phelps Sauerkraut Festival (Phelps being the original home of Silver Floss Sauerkraut), Paul & Bobbie Kukuvka opened the Olde Slovakia booth and started serving our Slovak family staples such as Halupkies (stuffed cabbage rolls) Kielbasa & Kraut served on rye bread, Pierogies, and Haluska Kapusta (sauteed cabbage with noodles).

After Paul’s & Bobbie’s passing, son Mark (and his wife, Sandy) kept the tradition going – now with the help of their children and even granddaughters. We’ve gained a loyal following over these past 45 years, so we’ve now decided to take the show on the road!

While the “look” may be new, we’re still serving the same family recipes that have been popular these many years. So follow the polka music and come give us a try if you haven’t already!
